The Principalist Islamic Iranzamin Party today announced that they were nominating their Secretary General, Seyed Abolqasem Raufian, as their candidate for the Presidential election. Raufian represents a specific faction among Principalist parliamentarians whose Islamist ideology is centred on making members of society more religiously observant.
